To Puerto Galera by Private Charter:

The favorite mode of transport of tourists who upon arrival at the airport would like to be whisked away from Manila all the way to Puerto Galera.

Aircon Van – good for 6-10 persons One-Way = PhP 4000.00

Chartered Outrigger Ferry One-Way = PhP 4000.00

An air-conditioned van will be waiting at the airport or your hotel to pick you up. The driver will be at the exit carrying a sign with the name of the guest.

The van will go straight to a private beach in Batangas called Berberabe Beach or Lea Beach where an outrigger ferry is waiting for you to depart to your destination in Puerto Galera.

Although there is no time requirement and you leave upon your pleasure, it is advisable to leave during daytime rather than nighttime since the Coast Guard only allows daytime trips for outrigger ferries. However, it has become a regular occurrence when nighttime trips had been allowed especially when the passengers are tourists going to Puerto Galera.

The normal rate for the van and ferry private charter service is 8000 pesos one-way which can be divided to a maximum of 6 passengers.

There are times when the sea separating Puerto Galera from mainland Luzon become choppy and frightening to many tourists especially when the transport services are via wooden outrigger ferries. Although outrigger ferries have fairly good safety records, this service is not for the faint-hearted during inclement weather.

To Puerto Galera by SuperCat Ferry

Now tourists can go to Puerto Galera via SuperCat – a bigger, convenient and modern ferry service that docks at Calapan City Port. 

SuperCats are twin-hulled fast ferry catamarans with cruising speed of up to 34 knots (63 kilometers per hour). Travel time to Calapan City Port from Batangas is only 45 minutes.

From Calapan City, the tourists board an air-conditioned van that brings them to famous tourist spots like the Tamaraw Falls and then to their destination in Puerto Galera.

All SuperCat vessels boast of comfortable airline-type seats, are fully air-conditioned and have wall to wall carpeting with a canteen / mini bar to delight your cravings while on board. A SuperCat has an average seating capacity of 245 and is equipped with advanced safety and navigational equipment like the computer controlled Motion Dampening System (MDS). This hydraulically operated stabilizer assures maximum comfort as the vessel glides over rough waves. Its waterjet propulsion features impellers that create a smooth and quiet journey. Another state of the art feature is night vision capability that allows navigation at night even at speeds of 32 knots.
